There's a permissions issue with my Mac

Hi. I'm a mac user. I recently changed my root drive name from tkennedy2293 to Scott. Now dropbox will not connect to my PC upon startup. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling dropbox. I've even tried installing when logged in using the root administrator credentials. I would appreciate any suggestions to fix my issue.

You'll likely need to perform a complete reinstall. Follow the steps in Stefanie's reply in teh following thread:
