There was an error downloading your file.

Everytime I try to download a single file from my dropbox (desktop) it gives me the message "There was an error downloading your file". The only way I can download files is by downloading a few at the same time which creates a .zip folder on my computer downloads with the files inside.

Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks in advance.

Hey there @Oliveve

Could you please confirm for me if you've tried downloading a single file:

  • Using a different browser?
  • Through an private browser/incognito mode?
  • After you've cleared the browser's cache?
  • Once you've ensured that you're not running any third party browser extensions?

Let me know of any updates!

I have tried with another browser, icognito, and after cleaning all browser data, no extentions.

As I have already said, it only works if I download multiple files at the same time. It works on the app.
