Touch alphabet navigation not working

Touch alphabet navigation not working

The touch alphabetic navigation stopped working on the boss' Ipad. He can only use the search window and is going crazy. I tried resetting some things in the settings but no go.  Help!

Hey @TroyP, and welcome to our Community!

You may want to first verify that you are running the latest operating system your device can support. Then, also verify you are running the latest version of the Dropbox app.

This may resolve what you are reporting. Here is where you can check.

Can you have a look, and let me know? 

If the issue remains, then feel free to send me a screenshot of the issue! (Make sure none of your personal info is shown there)

I couldn't get the screen shot to work - different problem for different people, but I did find a generic photo on the web and added arrows to the alphabet navigation that I am talking about.  It does not work on our Ipad Pro.  All the operating systems on the Ipad and Dropbox are current.  Any help is appreciated!

When you say it doesn't work, do you mean it's not clickable at all? 

If he's able to click there, what results does your boss get?

It shoots straight to the bottom of the list no matter what letter he touches.

Hey @TroyP, I see. 

Could you please try to clear the cache on the app and then uninstall, and re-install?

To clear your cache, please follow the steps listed below:
- Navigate to the “Personal” tab
- Tap the gear icon in the upper-left corner of the screen
- Select “Clear Cache”

Cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does not work.  Still goes straight to the bottom of the list.
