Touch screen monitors increase syncronization hanging/freezing with Windows File Explorer

DB appears to work OK on all 20± of my machines - still struggling with (Windows) File Explorer hanging on some of the machines with touchscreens though...

This appears to happen only with my computers that have seperate touchscreeen monitors with additional multiple monitor(s). I click a DB file or folder and File Explorer will typically hang about 60 seconds or so; sometimes just a few seconds, other times a minute or two and Explorer finally "wakes" up. This has been a problem for several years. It seems to be a unique problem with multi-monitor systems with a separate touch screen monitor. 

Re-installs and advanced re-installs to not correct the problem.

Help me please - I am losing my mind on this one - help from someone on this would be most sincerely appreciated

Hello @JTraynor77 - welcome to our Community and thanks for the report!

As I'd love to dig deeper into this matter; would it be OK if I used the email address that's connected to your Community's profile to create a ticket on your behalf? 

On a side note, could you check if there are any pending updates for your computers' drivers -the ones you're using with Dropbox- and apply them (if possible)?
