Using DropBox to transfer folders and files from an old computer to a new computer was a complete disaster. Did more harm than good. Took all selected files and folders from old computer and put them on the DropBox Cloud, but did not install them on the new computer. Now 1) files and folders have been completely removed from my old computer, 2) files and folders are not available on my new computer, 3) some of the folders that did transfer are MISSING MANY FILES. What am I supposed to do to get the files in tact on my new computer?
Also, when I try to delete the corrupted folders on the new computer I get a notice it will delete the file/folder from DropBox. Then I would lose the file/folder loaded on DropBox. HP Smart Friend cannot figure out how to proceed. Can you help? I need to access my files on the new computer NOW.
