Transfer not Working

Transfer not Working

Explorer | Level 3

Whenever I try to create a Transfer, I can upload the files fine and set a password etc. but when I click on the 'create transfer' button nothing happens. 

It doesn't start loading or crashes or anything, the page just doesn't change at all. I've tried restarting my computer, deleting cookies etc. from my browsers and have also logged-in to my account from different computers, but none of that makes a difference. 

 

Any help appreciated!

Hi @EmmaL94; welcome to our Community!

 

Can you please let me know if this persists across different browsers and/or an incognito window without any extensions or plugins running?

 

If it does persist, could it be that you're a member of a Dropbox for Business team account and your team's admin has disabled the Transfer feature?

Hi Walter,

 

Thank you for your reply! The problem persists across all browsers I've tried without any plugins (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer). I am using a business account, but everyone else in my team has been using the Transfer feature without any problems, so I don't think that can be it.

Thanks for the quick follow up Emma!

 

One thing that comes in mind is that your shared links and file requests were banned, and as this also affects File Transfers, you're no longer able to use the feature. 

 

That said, it would be better if you contacted our support team directly so we can look further into this with account specific information.
