Transfer not received by addresse, but listed as downloaded

I sent a file, but the addressee said they did not receive anything from Dropbox.  The file was listed as downloaded.  How can I find out what happened?

Hey @swiffish, I hope you're having a good day so far!

 

If you sent the transfer via email, you should have received an email when the file was downloaded. Did you receive any emails regarding this?

 

Also, if you happen to be on a business team, then the admin can check out the Transfer activity with the steps outlined towards the bottom of this article.
