Trying to download but drive is full

Trying to download but drive is full

I’m trying to download folders from Dropbox.com with hundreds of photos. My drive is full. I have Smart Sync enabled. I want to download the files to a flash drive but can’t find a way to do this directly. Dropbox want me to make the folder and files local but there is no room to do this and the sync stops with the error that drive is full. Please help.

Hey @kdeemer1, I hope you're doing well.

Can you clarify if you're using the Dropbox desktop application or the website to copy your content?

Keep in mind that whether you want to download content from our website, or you want to sync it locally, you'll need enough hard drive space.

If your drive is full, you wouldn't be able to save the content there, and might need to save it somewhere else, such as on an external hard drive.

I hope this helps.
