I am trying to move all the files in Dropbox to my iCloud which has plenty of space, more than 100GB. When I select the files in the drop box and and try to drag to iCloud drive, it is not allowe, even i cannot copy the file. Please let me know how I can tranfrer the files.

This won't have anything to do with Dropbox. Dropbox is just a folder on your computer like any other. It can't prevent you from copying or moving files to another location on your computer.

My guess would be a local disk space issue. You may have enough space in iCloud, but do you have enough on the drive that your iCLoud folder is located on? That's where I'd start.

Since I downloaded the new Dropbox Desktop app, this became a problem. Error message states, "

Moving this shared file to your Documents folder would remove it for everyone else at Liquid and Grit. Learn more about sharing"
