I have two dropbox listed and they contain the same files. Do I have to keep both?

Hello, @4elephants I hope you're doing well!

If you see two Dropbox folders, this could be because the desktop app was once linked on an older account.

Could you have a look through the desktop app's Preferences to check the path of your Dropbox folder and where it syncs?

Let me know how it goes and we'll go from there!

I am sorry but I am not computer savvy and don't know how to track the app to see where they sync

Hey @4elephants, no worries, this is why I am here!

Let me send you the steps on how to check here: Make sure your desktop app is open, then click the little Dropbox icon in your taskbar. (The row of icons at the top or bottom of your screen).

If you don’t see it in that row of icons, click the arrow, to see if it’s in the overflow area. Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the top-right corner. Click Preferences, then go under the the Sync tab

You should be able to see the path of your folder there.

If you need further help, let me know!

Hey @4elephants, thank you so much for the screenshots!

In the second one, under the Sync tab, you can see the wording Location there which shows the path it's syncing to.

Can you also access your files through the desktop app, or the Finder and check your files' icons? If you see them visible, that means your app is syncing to this destination.

Give me a shout if you need anything else!
