Unable to view shared folder/files

Unable to view shared folder/files

Hello DropBox team,

1. Have a Basic account - use apps for iPad and iPhone (2 connected devices)

2. Was added to a group which gets to view shared folders and files - updated weekly

3. Share folder owner sent a link which i can open in Dropbox but it asks me to save to my account - when I do that it says I have run out of space (i have a basic account - not the person sharing the info)

4. How can I get the shared folders/files to show on my account so that i can view it?

5. What do I need to do to both see and have it sync up on update

6. If i log into the dropbox website using a browser I still cannot see any items in my shared folder or otherwise!

Appreciate any assistance regarding this. Thanks!

3 - yes, that is correct. Any files or folders in your account will use up your quota.

4 - you'll need to get more space either via an upgrade (www.dropbox.com/plans) or try at www.dropbox.com/gs

5 - It needs to be a shared folder added to your account, but, which you will need space for.

6 - because you dont have enough space.
