Unable to view shared link

I uploaded a pdf to dropbox to share with people. I created a link and sent the link to multiple people to view the file. However it seems like many people cannot open the link. All the settings are correct. How can I fix this?

What error are they getting if they attempt to view the shared link on the site?

Are they using a desktop or mobile device to view the link? What OS are they using?

This will help me to assist further!

Both android and iphone are having trouble. But some iphones have no problem viewing it. 

One person got a message saying it's an invalid format.

If this persists after clearing their browsers' cache and/or on other browsers as well, could you send us a screenshot of the exact error they get, Michelle?
