Upload Error Message when Uploading to Dropbox

Good day,

We just started Dropbox Business and uploaded folders yesterday and some folders and files did not upload and trying to understand why? It says Upload Error.

Hey @Virg, I hope you're having a good day so far!

Can you just clarify for me where you're trying to upload files to your Dropbox account? Would this be through the website, desktop app or mobile app?

If you're uploading through the website, around what size are the folders that you're trying to upload? Are they under 50 GB?

Hi Daphne,

We are using the website to upload. All under 50GB.

Thanks for getting back to me @Virg!

Can you try the following and let me know if you see any difference in behaviour? 

  • Use another web browser.
  • Try using an incognito/private window.
  • Clear your browser cache and try again.
