Thought I dropped folder into dropbox. Instead dropped windows desktop link to folder. What did I do wrong.

Hey @rojamg, Welcome to the Dropbox Community!

Would you mind clarifying if you used the Dropbox folder on your computer to do this?

If you want to add files or folders to your Dropbox account, you need to drag and drop those specific files and folders to the Dropbox folder, so that they can get uploaded to your Dropbox account.

What happened after you dragged the Windows desktop link?
