Using the new File Request feature, what if two people upload a file with the same name?

Using the new File Request feature, what if two people upload a file with the same name?

We have a form that we want our members to be able to submit electronically but anonymously.  I am going to try to use File Request, but I couldn't find out what happens if different people submit files with the same name to the same folder.  Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hello...

I did another test using the same person's name along with the same file name via Dropbox's File Request feature.

As you can see below, Dropbox just adds: (1), (2) and so on to the end of file name which separates each upload.

Hello...

It doesn't matter if your form is uploaded with the same file name using the File Request feature (view captured screens below).

Is there a way to turn off this feature? Our files are name-sensitive and this is causing a huge issue as all the file names are changed...

@Azul

No AFAIK you cannot turn off the feature, simply don't use file requests and get your files via a shared folder, for example.

Are you asking a question or are you yelling at someone with those exclamation points?

I'll test it out using two proper names along with the same file name and post the results here.
