Files which are in Dropbox Vault are displaying correctly using iOS and Mac, but not showing using Windows 10. Is there a fix for this?
Thank you.
Hey @joelstarkman, let's see what we can find on this.
Could you send me a screenshot (without any personal info) illustrating the different displays you mention?
Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Hi Lusil,
Screen shots are attached (Windows10, iOS and MacOS)....
Thanks for these screenshots, @joelstarkman.
Could you check which version of the desktop app you're running and what the syncing status is?
You can do that by hovering over the Dropbox icon that's next to your computer's clock.

Version 112.4.321
Sync status states "Up to date"
I think the problem may be that the folder that I moved into Vault was originally set to not sync with my Windows computer. So when moved into the vault, it is also not showing on the Windows computer.
What is the best way to resolve this?
Hi @joelstarkman_msa, do you mean you used selective sync to prevent it from syncing, or were you ignoring the folder?
Does the folder name itself have any characters that are incompatible with Windows?

The folder had been set to not sync with my window computer using Selective Sync. The folder name is legit.
Are you able to select the folder in the selective sync window on your desktop app?

Hi Jay,
I did a workaround by copying the original files into a new folder, then placed the copies into the vault. All is working now.
Thanks for your support and assistance.
Joel
No worries, @joelstarkman_msa, glad to hear you were able to get the files into the Vault.
Enjoy your weekend!
