Vault Sync Issues in File Explorer Use

Vault Sync Issues in File Explorer Use

I seem to have an issue where one of the text files I am updating (.txt) is causing conflicts whenever I open within file explorer after opening with the PIN.  When I save it instant comes up with sync issues and stores a conflicted file outside of the vault.

My use case for this is to use it within the vault itself and use it via the normal file explorer experience rather than using the dropbox UI.  Is this a known issue?

Thanks so much for the reply, I had a feeling this might be the case.  I hope there is consideration to improving that functionality later.  Things such as secure keys being worked on within the normal filing system, then being transferred to the vault will leave a trace of the original file from removal.  If a hacker compromised the machine they could recover the file from the white space if it hasn't been shredded properly.  Would need to manually have to do a file shred each time rather than working in a purely encrypted space, adding a lot of extra steps to a workflow.  It kind of leaves things exposed in the transition.  There are workarounds such as BitLocker or Veracrypt, I was just kind of hoping that this dropbox vault did it too.

Thanks so much for the response though, little disappointed they allow you to open and work on these files within the normal OS.  If its that restrictive actively working on them, its probably best to do what Nord Locker does and force people to use the client UI so its clearer of intention.

Its my understanding that the Vault isnt designed for files to be actively worked upon or edited within it - its more a repository for files which you need storing securely such as Wills, financial statements etc.
