Video won’t download

Another user shared a large video file with me. I was able to transfer it to my DB account. It is 6.25GB in size. I have tried to download it to my MacBook Pro multiple times, with no success. It goes thru the entire process, showing the progress bar and time remaining. Every time it gets to 6.07GB downloaded ... then I get an error message that it can’t complete the process.

I have searched the forum, but have not found a resolution that is working. I would appreciate any direction on how to get this file to complete the download.

Lusil,

I switched to Google Chrome / Incognito.

The download got to the final 10MB of the download and I received a “failure” message. I was able to select an option to “Resume”. Once I selected “Resume” the video download completed.

Thanks for the direction.

At first, could you try the following and see if any of them help?

  • Switching to another browser. 
  • Using incognito/private browser session. 
  • Ensuring that you're not running any third party browser extensions. 
  • Clearing the cache.
