Viewing images is a nightmare

On android dropbox app, when i swipe left or right, the image title on top and comment box on bottom KEEP showing up every single time and i have to tap on the screen to get full screen view. Then i swipe to next photo and i have to do it all over again. Why cant it stay in full screen mode and have the title/comment show up when the screen is tapped instead?
I think every1 would agree that the default should be the photo in full screen and tapping to show title/comment instead of it being the other way around. Or just make an option for both ways.
