Virus wiped out the contents of my files.

I've spent much of the past two weeks compiling and uploading files from two computers to Dropbox.

It appears that a virus duped me into deleting all the contents in those files -- but the files remain -- when I did a routine erasure of meaningless files via WiseCare 365.

Is there a way for a novice to repopulate roughly a terabyte of data into those files?

Is there a way to roll back the deletion?

This is devastating.  I am a writer and photographer and business owner.  These files are my ... wow.

Thanks in advance, for whatever help you might be able to offer.

Hello @RJSutherland, I'm sorry to hear about that!

I can suggest checking your Events page here to see if there was a large event where these files were changed, and exactly what action was recorded through Dropbox.

If it's just the content of the files that was deleted, then the best option to restore the files to a previous version in batch would be through Dropbox Rewind.
