What files can be shared using the link for editing

What files can be shared using the link for editing

Hi! I know that there are two types of links in Dropbox - link for editing and link for viewing:

I want to know what file extensions are supported to share with link for editing?

I read this topic https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-files-folders/Can-I-create-a-shared-link-with-edit-rights/td...

and @Jay said that you can share Google documents. I thought it should be the following types:

.GDOC
.GSLIDES
.GSHEET
.GDRAW
.GTABLE
.GFORM

But actually it only works for .GDOC, .GSLIDES, .GSHEET

Also, I found out that the following types of docs can be shared using the links for editing:

".DOC",
".XLS",
".PPT",
".DOCX",
".XLSX",
".PPTX".

and ".PAPER".

Is the any documentation with the list of all types of files that can be shared with the link for editing?

Hi @vlad_m, thanks for messaging today!

You can create shared links with edit permissions for Google docs and Microsoft documents.

We appreciate the feedback for the documentation on this matter.
