Whats the best option for sharing a file directory with one other person?

What I'm trying to do is this... I want to have a  shared directory on dropbox where both me and 1 other person can have that directory on our local drives, and when we modify or add files to it, the changes get pushed through to the other person automatically. I managed to do this with Dropbox business trial and it worked pretty flawlessy but I think thats going to cost me £10 per person per month.. starting with 3 people...  so £30 per month? ( it's a bit unclear).   Which is more than I would want to pay for something like that.

Is there any way to do what I want with a cheaper version of dropbox?

Is the business version priced per person with a minimum of 3 people?

thanks

You don't need a Business account to share a folder between two people. They just need their own account and you can create a shared folder. Even free accounts can share folders. You're just limited to the amount of space available in your account.
