When I restore files will they be added back to their original folders, or a new folder together?

Hi everyone,

 

At some point my dropbox deleted 4K + shared files yesterday. If I restore them, will they get back in the folder that they were used to be? Or will it get back in one folder?

 

Hope someone can help me out!

Hi @RomyWeekers; welcome aboard and thanks for using Dropbox!

 

To directly cut to the chase, your files will be restored in their original locations and not in one specific folder. 

 

As for the reasons why they might have been deleted, you can take a look here.
