Why am I reaching the 24hr limit for sharing invites?

I have been trying to share a file for a week! I am wasting time & have a deadline. I have free account and my file it 1.5 gb. I have shared many files like this before to 20 plus people with no problems. I am trying 15 at a time, reloaded the file, waited 48 hours, still it immediately prompts the same message. It only works if I send to one person. HELP!

Hi @MariaSteele, thanks for messaging the Community!

 

As you've discovered, there is daily limit to the number of invites to folder and files shared from your account.

 

Could you try to instead create a shared link to the file, and then send that link to the people via your email service?

Ooh and I have the same problem with a twist.  I only want one more new share and I got that same message.

So I waited several days and hello I get the same message ( you have hit the daily limit....)  so I deleted three people from the 16 leaving 13 to add one back to and still the same message.

I have done this manouvre many times before with no issues, why now?   And same thing several days apart .  And only trying one share transaction not many.

In your case, it sounds like you may be getting a similar experience to what is described in this article.

 

For that reason, I'd suggest using an incognito window while logged OUT from your account to contact our support team through the relevant form as soon as possible.
