I have two computer in two separate locations. For years I have never had a problem. Dropbox would automatically sync files and folders between the two computers. For some reason that has stopped. I have files I desperately need, and I have no idea how to get them. I had never contacted customer service before, but today I tried to do a live chat. That never happened. Who knows why?
Any idea on how to get my files to sync between computers?
I spent three weeks at my home in upstate NY. I put any number of files in dropbox while I was there. I am back in New York City, and none of the files are on my dropbox here in NYC. My application was running upstate. It is running here. I have added files since my return three days ago, but I do not see any of the files that I added three weeks ago.
You have to understand where I am coming from. I have been using dropbox for years. I add a file to one computer at one location. I return home, and the file is at the other location. I don't know anything about pausing sync. I don't know anything about blue arrows.
I will tell you this. I looked at my history. I arrived at my upstate home on April 4th. There seems to be sync until April 15th. Then there is a ten day gap until I returned to New York on April 25. Nothing appears to have synced. That is all I know.
