Why can I only view 4 hours of an audio on the website and mobile app

Explorer | Level 3

there are files in drop box and I try and view them on my mobile device or even send a link to someone else to view them, it only plays 4 hours 7 seconds of the file even though it's much longer. How can I fix this issue?

They must be viewing the file from the shared folder rather than the link then, since they can stream up to 4 hours.

To listen to the whole file, they can make the file available offline, or export the file to their local device storage, where they can play it through another media app.

Let me know if this helps @Q damasta!

Hey @Q damasta, I'd be happy to help look into this with you.

Generally, if an audio file is shared with you and the owner is on a Business team, you can stream the first 4 hours on the web and mobile app.

Just to make sure though, are you the owner of the file? Did you upload it to your account?

Give me a nudge whenever you check this out, thanks!

Yes I am the owner of the file. Well it's a audio book that's uploaded to my account in my dropbox. I have dropbox plus not business though and I shared the link to the file with someone else so that they could enjoy the book as well. They only have a basic account and I sent a link to the file, I even put the file separately inside of a dropbox folder that I shared with them.
