Why won't Restoration Link work?

Submission form for HELP asks for restoration link to restore deleted files (in a large event versus individual restoration).

 

I put in the link from this very website, and for some reason, it refuses to recognize it.

 

How shall I proceed, since I cannot send a BASIC EMAIL asking what I need, I have to send a PREPROGRAMMED email that isn't even working?!

That was what I tried to do. It does not accept the link.

 

Just to be safe, I attempted it again. Nope. Won't accept it.

Can you please let me know what you mean by "it doesn't accept the link"? Could you please post a screenshot of the error message that you are receiving there?

Please include a link to the deletion event you'd like to undo. See this article on how to find a restoration link.

Please only enter a valid link to a Dropbox file event page

Other Details

Paid users can expect a response within 24 to 48 hours.

Sorry - 3 screens, cannot do a screen shot. But the "please enter only a valid link" always pops up, in red, won't accept.

 

But I am putting the link from the event page with all of my file information!

I was asking for the screenshot so I can see which link you are trying to submit. Maybe there is a problem with the format of the link.

Hi, I have cut and pasted the below which still highlights in red that I need to add a restoration link

r frustrating as lost all files I did from my phone that has affected my dropbox account . Able to restore but will take years to do it the way it suggests?

Please note that https://www.dropbox.com/events?role=personal&date=7-12-2015 is not a restoration link. Please see this article for how to get a restoration link:

https://www.dropbox.com/help/9132

A proper restoration link will look like this: https://www.dropbox.com/event_details/####/####/#####/ with the #s being numbers.

Hi, sorry the files were not shared....i really do not understand the process you have kindly indicated. I have no idea on how I get a proper restoration link to send on a support ticket. Any way of making this process easier for me to restore the photos/files?
