Wich features of the dropbox badge are available for all/for business-users only?

New member | Level 2

Hej,

Im part oft a small reasearch-group and we are thinking about using the dropboy-badge in office to work on shared documents. Is this possible without having a business-account? When inviting my collegues to the document until now I only managed to give them the right to watch it. How can I allow them to change the document?

And to the community: What kind of experiences do you have with this tool?

Thanks a lot,

Ju

Hey Ju!

The Dropbox badge appears on any MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel file saved in your Dropbox that you’ve shared with other users (you can find more info about it here).

Furthermore, for other users to be able to edit content, you need to sent the file in a shared folder (as shared files aren’t editable) and give them edit rights.

Finally, you can find more info about what’s available for each plan in this link.

I hope this helped to some extent!
