Will upgrading to a Business plan help me restore files that were deleted 2 months ago?

2 months ago I deleted more than 400 files from my Dropbox, and my thesis was there by mistake, I didn’t notice till now that I need the file for an exposition.

If I change my account to business, can I recover the files deleted previously to the plan change or is it worthless? Please help me

I deleted the files from my phone, not from desktop so I can’t recover it from the recycle bin.

Unfortunately, no. Upgrading an account doesn't extend the recovery time for files already deleted. It only extends the recovery time for files deleted since the upgrade.

I'm afraid that if you're beyond 30 days since they were deleted, then there won't be a way to recover them in Dropbox.
