Windows File Explorer crashes only in the Dropbox folder

Windows File Explorer crashes every time I acess the Dropbox folder. It does not crash in any other folder. Here's a few more details...

 - I can access my Dropbox files from within my programs, like CorelDRAW and Adobe, but only for about 60 seconds, then the open or import dialog freezes.

 - This started about 5-6 weeks ago.

 - I uninstalled and reinstalled Dropbox once, and booted my computer dozens of times.

 - My folder location is C:\Users\George\Dropbox

 - I can open that folder, but if I click on anything - a folder or file - Explorer freezes

 - This one is weird - anywhere within File Explorer the search quits as soon as I put the curser in the search box. Not just in the Dropbox folder, but in avery folder.

This app has more bugs than Minnesota in July.

 

I've done all the above.  It's not a beta version, plus I have un in stalled re installed several times using Admin.

 

Help!

 

Explorer is frozen !

Hi @mtnbikir, just to clarify, when you install with admin privileges, this means not right clicking the file to run as administrator, as per these steps.

If you're still experiencing issues with the app, you can contact the support team directly for them to investigate further.
