Word Documents Reformatting

Explorer | Level 3

When on my 2019 MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.5 and open Word documents that I put in my Dropbox account, they are often reformatted.  I am not going through the Dropbox website but opening them directly from the files on my computer.  It happens when there are tabs involved.  I have read what other people have said about this on the forum.  But I find no solution.  Can someone help me?  I'm considering upgrading to the business account for my business.  But if I can't fix this, I will need to look into another platform.

As a first step, can you please send me two screenshots of the same file and how it looks like when you open it on our website and another one as opened locally on your computer so I can have a look into this?

Walter, thanks for responding.  I never open my files from the Dropbox website.  But I have attached a screen shot of the problem in one of many documents that got reformatted in places.  It is a pattern/keeps happening.Dropbox Problem.png

Thanks for the screenshot of this file looks like on your computer @Living!

 

Can you see if this is how it looks like on our website as well?

 

Also, does this issue go away when you quit our desktop app?

 

Any additional information you think might help our investigation will be much appreciated!
