View, download, and export

Hi, I have jpeg images in a zip folder, which I was able to access before... the zip file is from 2014, but i never had any issues. Now when I try to open the zip file to preview the images, I get an error message saying "something went wrong and we cannot preview the files". I am not able to extract the files either. Can anyone help please?
Hi @Sandi_D, thanks for providing these details!
Is this zip file located on your own Dropbox account, or are you viewing it via a shared link?
Are you able to download the zip file and extract the images to preview normally?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi Jay, thank you for getting back to me! The zip file is located on my own personal account. It was originally a shared link, but I saved them to my own account... I had no trouble with the images before. I am no longer able to download the zip file. I keep getting the same response that "something went wrong" and it won't let me extract the images either.
Is there anything I can do?

If you get the same results on other browsers or after clearing your browser's cache, could you send us a screenshot of the error so that we can have a visual too, Sandi?

Hi, I cleared the browser's cache... and tried to view the images again, but I got the same message. See below.
The file should be able to be previewed, since it's less than 512 MB. It's possible that something else might be preventing the file from previewing.
Are you not able to download the file to your machine, to then preview it?

No, it won't let me download anything... what else could be preventing it from previewing?

If the file is in your own account, do you have the Dropbox desktop application installed?
If so, the file should have automatically synced to your machine, and you should be able to open it from your local Dropbox folder.
