all my files disappaered

I logged on today and dropbox said they could not connect with my email address.  This is strange because I am receiving emails.  

Also, all my files were gone.

 

I changed my email on the account and still everything is missing.

 

I am not able to file a help ticket and the chatbot isn't working.  It is really frustrating to not be able to speak to anyone.

 

Where the heck did all of my files go!

Hello @aplaz, let's see what we can do on this together. 

When you mention that you weren't able to connect to your account, could you clarify the exact error message that comes up?

Also, changing the email address associated with your Dropbox account doesn't affect its contents. 

Having said that, are you having trouble with missing files via the desktop app by any chance?

Any additional information would be super helpful, thanks!
