can't share any folders in account

odd issue... my assistant's dropbox account will not let us share file folders anywhere. I created a new folder in the main directory just now and was able to add shares on creation (added myself) but once the folder was made, it only allows a link, not a share. This is true of every folder everywhere in her account.. has anyone else encountered this? is there a solution?

I'm sorry to hear about this. Are you trying to share files that are already in a shared folder, or files that are in a private folder on your account?

 

Can you tell me the steps you followed to create a shared folder, just to be certain of what's going on?
