deleting a file

My dropbox is trying to hold my entire MacBook information as a file. Other files have the option to delete but not the MacBook and it is taking up too much space. How can I remove it?

Hi there @Kelem; thanks for joining our Community!

I'm not quite sure what's happening; could you please let send me a screenshot of this so I can advise further?

Could it that you enabled the computer backup feature perhaps?

Let me know what you find!

That might be the case, how would I undo that?

Yes, indeed; this seems like a backup of a connected computer of yours @Kelem

You can find all the information you need and the steps to disable it in the Help Center article I linked above.

Keep me posted on your progress!
