disable emails when admin (me) change permission on eg. a folder

Explorer | Level 3

Hi,
Using Dropbox For Buisness.

When I as a admin change a premission on eg. a folder - a email is sent out to all "members" of that folder.

My users not need (or want) those emails - can I turn them off ?

Hi @aandersen1304, thanks for messaging the Community today!

If permissions are changes on a shared folder, then it isn't possible from the admin's side to prevent emails from being sent out.

Each user has their own notification options on this page, which they could use to prevent emails from being sent to them, although not for those emails you're referring to. As changes to shared folders are important, the notifications can't be disabled, currently.

If you wish, you can suggest this change for others to vote on, so the dev team can look into this in future!
