downloading photos from dropbox to mac computer ?

New member | Level 2

I haven't used dropbox for awhile and when I was uploading photos from my iphone to icloud for some reason they uploaded to dropbox.

You used to be able to drag files/photos from dropbox to your desktop. How do I get the photos out of dropbox (simply as in dragging)?

I have read lots of help files and haven't found an answer yet. The icon also disappeard.

Thanks

Dropboxer

Hi there @Lee1983, I hope you're well today!

If the files uploaded automatically to Dropbox from your mobile, do you possible have automatic camera uploads turned on?

For moving the files to your computer, can you let me know if you happen to have the Dropbox desktop app installed?

The desktop app creates a local Dropbox folder which syncs with your account online. You would be able to make a copy of the files, or drag and drop them (to remove them from Dropbox at the same time) to another location on your computer.

Let me know - thanks!
