file recovery after upgrading the plan

file recovery after upgrading the plan

Hello

Let's say I have a plus account and this file was deleted 50 days ago. (meaning you can't recover it anymore).

  1. If I upgrade my plan to the Professional plan, is it possible to recover this file? (My guess is no because once a file is permanently deleted, you can't recover it, but would like to confirm).
  2. Also, if the file isn't deleted, then will the file recovery period automatically become 180 days from 30 days?

Thank you.

No, you are correct. You need to hold the correct plan at time of deletion to be able to restore. So in your example you cannot recover a 50 day file by upgrading now.

And yes 2 is also correct. If you stop paying then all of the recovery options revert to 30 days, and as before, cannot be retroactively applied.
