I accidentally deleted all the files from dropbox and there are none in the deleted files folder. How can I restore them?

Hello there @marilynlee17; thanks for posting on our Community!

Do you remember when is the last time you saw them on our website or approximately how long ago did you delete them?

Can you find any sign of them in your events page?

Keep me posted!

Hi @marilynlee17 As you said you have lost the files and want to recover them. I hope once you have checked the www.dropbox.com/events where you can find the folder and files. If not there then I want to let you know that DropBox allows you to retrieve the data 30 to 40 days from the trash. Although you can visit this link: https:confused face:/help.dropbox.com/files-folders/restore-delete

Here you can find useful information as well as support. An alternative solution can try Recuva or stellar data recovery free edition. It may recover your deleted files from your local machine. But the chance is low because overwritten data cannot be recovered. Try your luck. Thanks.
