files won't sync on my mac

I have about 400 files tyring to unsync on my iMac. I have over 900 GB of space on my drive and after four days the sync still isn't working. I've everything from restarting to signing out of the account and redownloading dropbox. Still isn't budging. Any ideas how to fix this would be super appreciated!

Hi @alliebaba - welcome to our Community!

I'll be glad to look into this for you. Could you send me the exact status of the app as shown within your menu bar so I can have a visual too? Is it 'Syncing', 'Starting' or 'indexing' for example?

While at it, can you check if you have any antivirus or firewall (or even a VPN/proxy setting) that could be interfering?

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there.

Thank you!

I see, thanks for the screenshot @alliebaba!

Can you reboot your computer and let me know if the app gets past that point after a while?

If it doesn't, I'd also check for symlinks (especially ones that point out of your Dropbox Folder) as these are known to cause syncing issues.  Please keep me posted on your findings!
