I'm not interesting in upgrading my account -- I just want to clear space in my dropbox to make room for new stuff. Unfortunately, deleting files doesn't do the trick. This makes no sense.

 

Seems to be a continuing issue among your users. If it's been addressed, I don't see any indication.

Hi @Sol12, thanks for posting on the Community!

How are you attempting to delete files on your account?

Could you try deleting them directly from the Dropbox site, as this will immediately free up the quota those files took up?

Keep me updated with any progress!
