missing files and folders on MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015)

I can't see the files and folders on my mac because they accidentaly disappear. they are on the dropbox server but i can't open it. it's very important. the things i did where: i click the dropbox application and then Sync, i choose folders and i accidentally HIDE ALL THE FOLDERS on my mac. please help me.

Just to make sure we're on the same page here, could you please let me know what the desktop app in your menu bar is reporting at the moment?

When you say you hid those folders, could it be that you selectively un-synced them?

Hi Walter, that’s exactly the problem. I click in the preferences Syn and I click on 3 folders that now i can’t see anymore on my Macbook. How can we do?

Is your app showing 'up to date' or still syncing in your menu bar, Margherita? 

Also, can you access the selective sync settings through the app's preferences normally?
