need help:video file converted to "file" ?

need help:video file converted to "file" ?

Hello

our family video clips I uploaded, to be able to send them ...

There appeared as small pictures by the name of each

and it opened normaly with VLC player.

The moment I renamed each   system changed them into just blank 'FILE" ??

I send them to my email to doublechek it says"ooops something went wrong""

and  I hve to clich OPEN and look for choices in my menu and use VLC player.

so the recepients who are not

tech savvy  will  see blank square next to word file and will not be able to open my videos.

Why DROPBOX system did this conversion of video file after rename.

And how can it be re-done to have my video files all lined up with small pictures and in format VLC player?

Someone help I am new at this.

Thanks in advance, Olivia, Serbia, Belgrade

Hey @Olivia; thanks for posting on our Community and sorry to hear about this.

Did you remove the extension of the files when renaming them perhaps? That could be causing issues.

Keep me posted!
