I just recently reinstalled the Dropbox App on my macbook. The macbook is almost out of storage b/c it appears my entire Dropbox is locally saved. I want a lot of it to be online only to free up space. When I right click any folder in Dropbox, select Smart Sync, it has a green check next to Local and I can SEE online only but when I click it nothing happens. It doesn't change to it. It almost appears greyed out? Help!
Hi @Courtney W.6; thanks for posting on our Community and happy Monday!
To better look into this, could you please send me the exact status of the desktop app as shown within your menu bar?
Also, can you elaborate on what's exactly happening when you click on the Online Only option?
If it's indeed grayed out, I'd appreciate a screenshot too so I can have a visual.
Thanks a bunch, Courtney.
