synch two accounts and upgrade to bus. professional

Hello,

I have a down graded bus account which I would like to re-upgrade to bus professional. I am not able to do this because I was told I am still in a group???  I also have a personal account which I am trying to merge into the downgraded bus account, but I am not sure the files have been synching.  I am worried about loosing files. Can someone help me?

Hello there @Paige B, let's see what we can do here. 

Just to make sure that we're on the same page, could you let me know the sort of subscription your Plan tab shows you're on?

If you could send me a screenshot of what you see, that would also be super helpful. 

As for merging the two accounts, could you let me know if you're using the desktop app at all for either of them?

Hello Lusil,

I am not seeing a "Plan Tab", but there is a warning at the top of my screen which says "Your Dropbox Business team has been downgraded and files have stopped syncing."

 

I believe I am using the desk top app for both accounts. I have tried to move all files from my personal account to my downgraded bus account and on the desktop the personal account looks empty, but online it looks like nothing has been moved.

Hi @Paige B, it sounds like you had a Dropbox Business trial, which has now ended, so it should be in a locked state

In order to leave the team, you can follow the steps in the above article to disband the team.

Once that's complete, you can upgrade to a Dropbox Professional plan if you wish.
