time frame/expiration period for viewing a particular link

Contemplating upgrading to DropBox Business. Question: Let's say we want people who purchase access to a video to have their access to the video expire after 2 weeks. Let's say 20 different people purchase that access, on different days. Does each person's access last for 2 weeks from the day they purchased? Or does access for all expire 2 weeks from the day we post, regardless of whether an individual purchases on day 1 or day 5 or day 13?  We think the former, but want to confirm.

Also, is a 2-week stream the standard  DB offering? Can it be changed?

Lastly, when someone makes a purchase (to view a video) is it correct that we'd be notified, at which point we would email that person the link? Or is it automated in some way?

We're newbies -- thank you advance!

Hey @leedb, thanks for reaching out to us here!

While you can set expiration dates on your shared links, we don't currently have any feature that would allow people to access these links upon payment.

What I could suggest would be to set a password for the shared link, and when payment has been made for the video, to share the password with them. However, this would need to be done manually.

Also, when you set an expiration date, you can choose whichever time frame you'd like.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
