unable to upload photos to dropbox from an iPad

Helpful | Level 5

Not able to upload photos to dropbox from ipad. Downloaded the app this morning and in the past 8 hours so far only able to upload 2 images. Have tried to upload via dropbox via create, upload photos, select a photo, click next, click upload, and nothing happens.

Have also tried via photos to dropbox, save too, chose destination, but the post button is not live after choosing.

Never seen a confirmation notice.

It was open, seemed to be some sort of glitch at the time as it is now working, although it will only load one image at a time.

The glitch at the time also required me to keep loging into this site every time I did something, which was why I gave up replying at the time. Working now.

Thanks everyone for your help.

Hey @dmitchell1, thanks for checking in with us - welcome aboard!

Currently, a notification or confirmation doesn't appear when you manually add a file or a photo to your Dropbox account via the mobile app.

If you're not seeing the files you upload to your Dropbox account though, could you try searching for their names and see if/where they show up?

Let me know what you find!

I'm afraid I couldn't see or find a reply from you, @dmitchell1

Could you try once more? Thanks for your time!

I've searched but they did not upload anywhere in Dropbox. We are able to shift pictures when we take them to Dropbox but cannot move existing photos from the ipad.

Are you making sure the app is open? Dropbox will often only upload when the application is open and running?
