.wav files can't be previewed from an archive file

New member | Level 2
New member | Level 2

I had some files shared to me that are .wav the file is zipped.

When I click on the file it gives me the error .wav files can't be previewed from an archive file.

I tried to download the file but there isn't an option to do so.

Hey there @lenriggs  - sorry to hear about this.

It's true indeed that you'll need to dowload the mentioned archive file (I guess it's a .zip file or something similar), so I'd suggest that you made sure that the shared link in question hasn't been password protected or a restriction for downloads by its original owner/creator.

If you've made sure that's not the case, please try another browser or an incognito window after having cleared your browser's cache (with no browser extensions or plugins running) to exclude browser specific issues, as your current browser session might be missing some visual elements such as the 'Download' button from the upper right corner when you access files from shared links.

Should the matter at hand persist, please forward me a screenshot of what you see on your screen when you access the link in question so I can investigate further.

Thanks in advance!
