While working in DB, all of a sudden, White space Conflict started syncing my files. All my files are in there but now I cannot sync with some computers. Any advice?

👋 Hey @TeresaS, I’d happily send you some advice that could point you towards the best next steps!

It would be worth noting that white space conflicts occur when there is a trailing space after the file name, but before the file extension. Please have a look at my example below to get a better idea on how to proceed:

Spoiler

"Test file .pages"

The above would exhibit a white space conflict because of the space between "e" and "." This can be resolved by renaming the file as:

"Test file.pages"
You can use Dropbox's Bad Files Check webpage to determine which files are not syncing due to incompatibilities & in most cases you should be able to resolve this by simply renaming the file and omitting the illegal characters.

Can you give my suggestion a go & let me know here if this does the trick this time? Thanks & I’ll be awaiting your next update here!
