This can sometimes happen if the files are not able to be moved/deleted from another connected device, perhaps because it is using the files that are being changed. Is this perhaps a shared folder? To see exactly what occurred, please check your Events page here for a breakdown of actions to see if that can clarify what happened and from which devices.
Also, can you let me know the current sync status of your desktop app? If you see any errors there please send me a screenshot of this (excluding any personal info).
